Squirts don’t need a proper uniform or proper registration, which makes it a $5 exercise for insurance as a flat cost for the whole season.

We will be meeting at 3.45pm to coincide with the U6′s at the Maleny showgrounds on the oval near the equestrian centre towards the back of the grounds.

Squirts is more of a program than a serious comp, with no real games and a flexible set up that allows us to set times and frequency of games if we have them as it suits us and the little players.

Mark (coach) will run through some ball kicking and help them work out which direction to run in to begin with and that should be enough for one day

Please feel free to get as involved as you would like to, we can always use extra feet from interested parents.

To the potential squirts – soccer is can be a great way to promote active play, team cooperation and also develop physical coordination, without it needing to be “your sport” for now or ever. We have no formal games so no weekend involvement is necessary and it will be so much more fun with a few more little feet on the ground.

Training sessions:

- Are held on Tuesdays at 3.45pm at Maleny Showgrounds beside the equestrian arena at the back and will go for 45 minutes.
- Please prepare to stay with your child for training.Things to bring for training:
- Running shoes
- Filled water bottle
- Healthy/fruit snack
- Sunscreen
- hats and caps

Games:

- Games will be informally played at/after training as numbers increase and skills allow
