On Sunday September 11th Maleny Rangers Football Club hosted their annual Club Presentation Day on the main oval at Maleny Showgrounds. The weather was perfect, with blue skies and cool breezes. We had a great turnout to enjoy the award presentation ceremony, games and lunch. The kitchen was in full swing under the watchful eye of Sam, our club’s canteen convener, and there were plenty of willing volunteers to keep things running smoothly. Dave, from ‘On the Go Espresso’, was kept busy making coffee and chai from his mobile coffee van and as always did a fantastic job.

The Roar blow up soccer field was a huge success with young and old alike, with organized games to keep everyone entertained. As always, the jumping castle proved popular with the younger members.

Thanks to everyone involved in planning, setting up and running the day’s events and to all the club members and their families for making it a day to remember.

Congratulations to all those who won awards on the day and during the season, for their efforts both on and off the field. We look forward to seeing all our players, coaches and managers back next season and welcome new members to our club.
