2010 coach of Maleny Rangers U13boys team, Madhu Kazony, is heading overseas to Africa in 2011 and has plans to set up a sister club to Maleny Rangers, in Burkina Faso, West Africa.

Burkina Faso is a small, land-locked country bordered by Ghana, Togo, Benin, Niger, Mali and Ivory Coast (Madhu’s home country); it has a high population density (approx. 15million), very limited natural resources and is considered one of the poorest countries in the world.

Maleny Rangers is proud to be involved in such a project and has passed on some club jerseys for Madhu to use when he arrives and begins the process of setting up his club.
