U16girls Maleny 1 Buderim 0
Maleny beat Buderim 1-0 at our home ground on Saturday. The girls played an outstanding game and consistently had possession. We still maintained our defensive record and managed to score in the 2nd half after several shots at goal. Our pocket rocket, Chloe Fuller, put our winning goal in the back of the net much to the distress of Buderim. Our line of defence is still an awesome force as we held out Buderim from scoring. Outstanding play from Gabby Jackson saw her awarded Player of the Match and the Encouragement Award went to Sarquin for exceptional play in the back line and her versatility when switched to forward.
The girls had lots of fun. Well done team. Great game Maleny!
