Cooroora 1 v Maleny 1. At the start of the second half of the draw our U14 Girls were looking to better their last encounter. Coorora came to the game equally determined. In a game that included skills, spills and wills, a draw was the eventual outcome. Player of the match, goalkeeper Austyn Campbell, performed as if she was in the Australian team and even received praise from the other coach and manager on her effort. Briony Weddell was given the Encouragement Award for persistence and placement during the entire game. Mention also goes to Sophia Fowler who twisted her ankle setting up our only goal , which Ellie Furlong drove home. Another nail biter for all who watched. Congratulations girls!
