Coolum vs Maleny 1 – 7. Our girls put in a good effort today. With only one sub, they all had a lot of field time and didn’t let the pressure off. Ruby Scott put away 3 goals in the first ten minutes to set us off to a flying start. Caitlin Ruddle not only kicked her first goal ever in soccer, she backed it up with another one! Cara Alexander also kicked her first goal in a penalty shot and Summer McGladrigan had a hand in with one great goal. Player of the Match went to Jacana Bright for tenacity and swift striking while Caitlin Ruddle received the Encouragement Award for listening to Eugen and taking great shots which transpired into her goals.
