Coorooa 3 v Maleny 2. This was a tough match. Maleny had only one reserve to fall back on and played really hard to lead 2 – 0 in the first half, due in no small part to some outstanding work by Aiden in goal! Cooroora came back fresh in the second half and scored two goals making it anyone’s game but our boys tired towards the end and Cooroora broke through their defence in the last few minutes to take the match 3 – 2. Well done boys, you put up a great fight. Troy scored both goals for Maleny. Thomas and Troy took home the player awards today.

CSPU 1 v Maleny 0. U13’s were a bit slow to get going in the first half and CSPU took advantage of that to score. In the second half Maleny took control and kept the ball in their possession with good passing and team work: The boys had many shots at goal but luck was not with them as the ball skimmed the net and bounced off the posts over and over again. It was valiant effort and once again our boys showed great sportsmanship throughout the match. Player awards today went to Frazer and Liam.
