Maleny 1 v Noosa 3. Friday night’s game saw the Maleny division 3 Women’s team play host to Noosa, and in a fast and enthralling game going down 3-1. From the kick off Maleny took charge of the game and pressured the Noosa goal box. It was only minutes into the game when a pass found Sarah Lowthian free in front of goals to bring up the first goal of the game. Maleny was frustrated for the remainder of the half with shots just missing or hitting the cross bar, while at the other end on the rare breaks Noosa had they managed to score two goals. The second half was more evenly paced with Noosa getting the only goal of the half. Best on ground in an alround good team performance were Lillie Brodier, Lisa Marsh, and Sarah Lowthian.
