Next Tuesday (18 May) the Flames & Star U8’s SSF teams will be ‘hosting’ our next club dinner. This is all about, helping our Soccer mum’s and dad’s by providing an easy dinner for the troops, and some time for parents to get to know each other better. It’s also a good chance to pat your coach and team manager on the back, and ask how you could help out.

$3.00 Soup & roll
$3.00 Half Baked Potato & toppings
$4.00 Full Baked Potato & toppings
(mince mix, bean mix, cheese, sour cream)
$1.50 Poppers
$2.00 Soft Drink
$1.00 instant tea / coffee / milo
50c – $1.00 brownie / biscuit

Most of the Committee will be there, if you have any questions, suggestions, and more importantly, offers to help out with something in particular. Many hands, make light work… and work more fun.

We hope to hold these Easy Dinner gatherings throughout the season, with each team buddying up with another to ‘host’ it. Please put nominate your team for the next one. You’re welcome to serve anything, that might fill up the troops.

For all the SSF parents, remember to head across the soccer fields towards the Canteen. It may seem a long way for little legs, but it is a much better venue & space for the BBQ. It also gives the littlies a chance to see the last bit of the competitive teams train.
