Another long car trip, this time to Bribie Island for the Maleny Rangers u/13 girls. All players were available this week as we welcomed Inca in for her first game of the season and the Maleny girls were at full strength to take on second placed Bribie. The game was played at fast pace with the ball moving quickly from end to end. Austyn was back in goals and made many good saves as Bribie tried to penetrate the Maleny defence. Maggie, Chloe and Jess were repelling the Bribie attacks and with strong support from Sarquin in the midfield Maleny began to take control of the game. Ruby looked dangerous in attack and eventually she managed to slot a goal through many players to give Maleny the lead. Just before halftime Ruby scored again and gave Maleny a 2 -0 halftime advantage.

Shortly after the break Bribie scored a goal and it looked like it was game on again. From the kickoff Maleny took the ball forward and immediately Mary-Anne scored a goal through great play. This gave Maleny a handy lead and near the end another goal to Ruby to give her a hat-trick sealed the 4 - 1 victory for Maleny and earned Ruby the player of the week award.
