The Maleny u/13 girls returned to the field after a two week break. There was a bye on the 3rd of May and then unfortunately we had to forfiet the game against NYU (Red) on the 10th of May, as half of the team was struck down with a virus. The girls continued to train well during this period and under the phenomenal coaching of Alex were well prepared to take on NYU (White). On Saturday the 17th of May, another fine Maleny day saw the girls combining well all over the field and first half goals again to Mary-Anne and Ruby saw Maleny lead at halftime 2 - 0. The two week break seemed to have rejuvenated the Maleny team and in the second half  the Rangers produced their best football of the year. Sarquin who had been playing with a toe injury for most of the year was back to her best and began to dominate the forward half and she scored two second half goals. Ruby and Mary-Anne also scored again in the second half. This gave Ruby, Mary-Anne and Sarquin two goals each for the game and gave the Maleny Rangers u/13 girls a 6 - 0 victory over a determined NYU (White).
