Saturday 24th May, Maleny u/13 girls welcomed two new players to their strong team. Hayley and Emily both made their debut against Buderim. The Maleny Rangers strong form, from the previous week continued and the powerful Maleny outfit had a commanding 8 - 0 lead at halftime. Two first half goals to each of the dynamic forward pack of Mary-Anne, Sarquin, Jess and Ruby enabled coach Alex to experiment with some positions for the second half and all of the girls enjoyed the opportunity to play different roles. Austyn was relieved to be temporarily freed from goalkeeping and showed great skills around the field. Chloe, Luci and Maggie have played fantastic in defence all year and looked equally damaging in the fowards. Summer and India used thier pace efficiently and second half goals to Jess, Ruby and Mary-Anne gave the Maleny girls a 11 - 0 victory as they continue their climb up the leaderbord.
