Today we travelled to Coolum for our make up game from round 1. A much improved effort today which resulted in a 2-0 win for Maleny.
A big game from Moi saw us continually threatining in attack. Eventually Harley put one in and we lead 1-0 at half time. Our defense improved in the second half and by moving up made it hard for Coolum to get near our Goals. Agreat move by Moi in the second half set Harley up for another Goal. A great Goal as Harley kept his cool and concentrated on simply getting the ball past the Keeper. Special mention to Nick Selman who displayed the perfect Goalkeepers game. His positional play and anticipation was outstanding. Defence was the foundation for the win with a big effort from all the boys.
